Salsa del Norte came into
existence as a consequence of necessity. James, a native of
the great Southwest, found that joining the United States
Navy was a gastronomic disaster. Missing the culinary
delights of home, he was forced to start creating recipes and
sauces in order to enjoy eating again. James settled in the
magnificent Pacific Northwest which influenced his recipes.
Unknown to him at the time, he invented what you are now
enjoying, Salsa del Norte. For the last decade, demand for
his salsa has spread internationally. Recently, James
reconnected with Laynya, his childhood friend in Seattle.
Laynya introduced the salsa to her family and found that
fights started erupting when the salsa ran low. This sparked
inspiration. A pioneering and entrepreneurial spirit, Laynya
took the helm and created our company, Del Norte Gourmet,
LLC. The partnership born, Salsa del Norte is now available
to everyone either at your local gourmet store or through
this website. Now food will never be boring for anyone again!
